knitting sweaters, Sue Bare is out showing younger people how marathons are
done.

KIMMEL Jake Kimmel started from humble beginnings, but with a
strong belief in himself and support from a mentor, Jake worked hard and was
met with success. Now this father, grandfather and great grandfather,
& entrepreneur is tackling a rare blood disorder with the same passion and
vigor he was born with.

FRANTZ Jack is 8 years old. On December 17, 2003, Jack
was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

SALAZAR The smile Suzanne Salazar wears is as big as her family.
In a recent visit with the seventh grade student, she happily shared how her
family has gotten bigger with the adoption of Michael into the family.

STEWART Hi. My name is Cameron Jakob Stewart and I was
diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL.) on June 15, 2000.
CARISSA
LANE My name is Carissa Lane and I am 15 years old. I'm a
sophomore at Oak Ridge Highschool. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic
Leukemia (ALL) on August 11th 2005.
VICKI
HAYNES I am in remission from having Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I
have been in remission since July of 2000. I wentthrough six months of
chemotherapy and having spent the last six years overcoming and dealing with
the sides affects of the disease and treatments.

SHIMIZU "While laying face down on the examination table, images
of my two-year old daughter bombarded my brain"...
SOPHIA
PANTIS In June of 2003, at the age of 19 months, Sofia was
diagnosed with pre-B cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).
ABDUL
SARANI I was diagnosed in May 1997 with Hairy Cell Leukemia. I
went through chemotherapy, radiation, shots, and blood transfusions. All these
treatments worked for a certin amount of time AND THEN STOPPED WORKING.
ALLISON
STEELE For some, being called a "Drama Queen" would be an insult,
but not for 14-year-old Allison Steele.
