Soccer Against Leukemia &
Lymphoma
We hope you will join us for the tournament's tenth
year in 2010!
SAVE THE DATE! The next SALLY Games is
scheduled for: Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Cherry Island
Soccer Complex in Sacramento Click here to Download the 2010 Sally Games Application
The SALLY Games is a recreational one-day women's
soccer tournament, for ages 18 and over. We have open, over 30 and
over 40 divisions, depending on the number of teams that apply.
(see bottom of the page for rules and
directions)
The mission of the SALLY Games is to raise money
for The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society and to educate the women’s soccer
community about leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other cancers. We
hope to achieve this mission by hosting a great soccer tournament and donating
the registration fees, snack bar profits and raffle proceeds to The
Leukemia Society to to advance research and provide patient services. We
hope the tournament provides all participants and spectators with a day of
awareness, camaraderie, and competitive soccer.
The SALLY Games was founded in 2001 by a small group of
Team in Training
(Team) marathoners as an innovative method to reach individual fundraising
goals set by Team. But it takes a village to run a tournament. Most
members of the committee do not
participate in Team and volunteer their time and energy to this effort.
We hope you will join us for the tournament's tenth
year in 2010! It's sure to be a clebration!
